DLL Catchment Area and Eligibility requirements

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MAP IS INTENDED AS CREATIVE IMAGERY.  IT IS NOT DRAWN ALONG PRECISE LINES

The Downtown Little League catchment area is defined as south of Canal Street, west of Bowery down to the Brooklyn Bridge and west of FDR south of the Brooklyn Bridge.

DLL Eligibility Requirements

A player must either reside or attend a school within the DLL catchment area to play in DLL. Previously registered DLL players who no longer meet the residency or school requirement will be grandfathered.

Proof of age includes a birth certificate or passport. Proof of residency include any bill (electric, gas, phone) or any official document with your home address printed on it.

For purposes of Divisional placement, the following Age Determination dates will apply:

Baseball Divisions:

     - Any player born before September 1, 2005, will use the Age Determination date of April 30, 2017

     - Any player born on or after September 1, 2005 will use the Age Detemination date of August 31, 2017

Softball DIvisions:

All players will use December 31st, 2016 as the Age Determination date.

Once you have formally registered your child, you can provide the required documentation in one of two ways detailed below:

NOTE: If your child is a returning player and you register through your existing DLL account, you do NOT need to resubmit proof of age or residence documents.  If you create a new account or are registering new players, you will be required to resubmit all required documentation.
