Winter Clinic Information (Included with Spring Registration!)

Downtown Little League Softball offers a comprehensive winter indoor clinic program at no additional cost to our spring registrants. The goal is to prep our players for success through training led by experienced coaches and instructors. Included are:

  • Pitching, catching, offense, and defense skills clinics
  • Coaches' clinics & guest clinics from nationally recognized coaches
  • Seminars for families on college recruiting and travel softball

NOTES

  • You must be registered for the 2025 spring season in order to participate (including waitlist).
  • Players should attend weekly clinic sessions that work best with her schedule. You can do multiple clinics if interested and available.
  • ALL CLINICS are drop-off only. Parents must wait outside the gym/facility areas except if they are helping to catch during pitching clinics.
  • All winter clinic attendees should wear athletic attire & sneakers and bring a water bottle. Please take into account that sliding may be required on some sessions as part of baserunning or fielding work.
  • Players should have a glove, bat, a batting helmet, and fielder's mask (optional). Due to COVID, we will no longer have shareable equipment for players to use.

DIVISION NOTES
  • For ALL Intermediate Minors & Minors players should try and attend pitching clinics to learn the basics of pitching. The game of softball cannot happen without pitching and we encourage as many girls to learn pitching fundamentals as possible. If your team has no viable pitchers in the spring season, there is nothing the league can do to help the gameplay.
  • For ALL Majors players interested in playing on spring tournament teams - regular attendance of clinics is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to maximize your chance of making the tournament teams.
  • For ALL Minors players interested in playing on spring tournament teams - weekly attendance of clinics at P3 is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to maximize your chance of making the tournament teams.
  • For Catchers - Email us directly to be approved to participate in weekly catcher clinics. Clinics are open to players in the Minors division and older and are held Weds 6:30-8pm at P3. You can email us HERE.
